Drawing inspiration from trekking expeditions across the UK’s most beautiful natural terrain, from Cornwall to the Lake District, and infused with echoes of their Caribbean heritage, D’Arcy’s work bridges land, memory and material. Discussing the exhibition, D’Arcy said: “Art is my way of reconnecting with nature, myself and with people. I want visitors to see the value in what we often discard, and to feel something real in a world that’s increasingly digital.”
