Battersea Park Children’s BOO!

From mysterious animal encounters to family-friendly Halloween storytime, there’s something for ghosts and ghouls of all ages at our little London zoo half term Halloween celebration!

Don’t forget to come in your favourite Halloween costume (spooky or not!) for your chance to win an exclusive animal encounter during our Halloween half term activities!

Join us for our Halloween Activities:

Minibeast Mansion
This year, we’re taking the ‘creepy’ out of ‘creepy crawly’ and celebrating our invertebrates in minibeast mansion. Get up close to our snails, millipedes and other unique zoo residents alongside craft activities.

  • Entry to the Minibeast Mansion in the cabin is free with some paid options
  • 11:30am – 1:00pm and 2:00pm – 4:00pm

(Not So) Spooky Storytime
Are you sitting comfortably? Then let’s begin! Join us for an interactive storytime with puppets, all about our zoo animals and their adventures. Suitable for all the family

  • Free (find us at the decking outside Treetops Centre (or inside Treetops Centre in bad weather)
  • 11:15am and 1:45pm

Costume Competition
Show off your most impressive outfit – spooky or not! We’re giving away an incredible animal encounter to our favourite Halloween costume of the week. Zoo staff will be on the lookout for the best-dressed visitor… could it be you?

  • Free entry (Zoo staff will hand out vouchers to the best dressed visitors. The vouchers allow visitors to enter in a prize draw for a chance to win a 30 minute animal encounter.)
  • All week.
