May Half Term at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo – Kids Half Price!

23 May @ 10:00 am - 31 May @ 5:30 pm
£6.97

This May half term, Battersea Park Children’s Zoo is throwing open its gates for a very special celebration: 75 years of bringing wildlife and families together in the heart of London. To mark the occasion, kids go half price all week, making it one of the best value days out in the capital this half term.
Each day of the week has its own conservation theme, with interactive stalls and activities run by wildlife charity partners including WWF, the RSPB and the Mitcham Hedgehog Project. From Big Beekend on 23–24 May to Native Species Day, Rare Breeds Day, World Otter Day, Hedgehog Day and World Parrot Day, there’s something new to discover every single day.
Throughout the week, animal lovers can enjoy an expanded schedule of keeper talks and feeding sessions, including visits with the Asian short-clawed otters, ring-tailed lemurs, Bagot goats, capuchin monkeys, meerkats and more, with talks running from 10:30am through to 4pm daily.
Round off the week with the Big Birthday Bash on Friday 29th May, when the zoo stays open late until 8:30pm for an exclusive after-hours celebration. Evening keeper talks include the Scottish wildcats and white-nosed coati, and adults can enjoy a drink from the café while exploring the zoo by twilight. Members go free, kids half price, and last entry is at 7:30pm.
There’s also the chance to take part in the Minutes for Nature challenge at the Hive Cabin, where visitors can pledge to do something positive for wildlife – from planting bee-friendly flowers to joining a litter pick – and even make their own bird feeder to take home.
