Nieves Barragán Mohacho hosts ‘La Casa Brugal’ at Sabor

Experience the warmth of Brugal’s Dominican culture with this exclusive communal dining experience. A cherished tradition in the Dominican Republic, ‘La Casa’ is where family and friends come together to share meals, stories, and laughter.

Bringing together their shared expertise and mastery, Michelin-starred chef, Nieves Barragán Mohacho and Brugal 1888 Rum have created this five-course communal dining experience. Savour an exclusive menu which infuses Brugal 1888 in the dishes cooked for you by one of the city’s most celebrated Spanish chefs. This culinary experience has been paired with bespoke Brugal 1888 cocktails including Maestro’s Welcome, The Voyage, Legacy Spritz and Cafecito Martini which have been designed to bring out the very best of each course.

Dishes will include:

  • Figs in tempura, Ajo Blanco
  • Prawn Croqueta, Classic Velouté
  • Turbot, Salsa Verde
  • Suckling Pig
  • Mascarpone Mousse, Wild Berries

A first of its kind, this family-style culinary experience is for the most discerning and curious Londoners and all profits will be donated to FoodCycle. This partnership celebrates the shared skill of Nieves and Brugal, an award-winning fifth-generation family rum producer, as well as innovation, the fusion of different notes, flavours and traditions that have been passed down by their respective families.
