The Rooftop – the seventh-floor bar and restaurant at The Trafalgar St. James hotel – launched Whispering Angel @ The Rooftop on 9th June. The collaboration sees The Rooftop’s alfresco terrace transformed into a floral summer space with a special wine menu from Château d’Esclans, home of Whispering Angel. A perfect destination for long summer lunches, brunches, evening meals and sunset drinks with unbeatable skyline views across Trafalgar Square and central London.
The drinks menu showcases a range of the best Provence rosé wines from Château d’Esclans, including the eponymous Whispering Angel, and the high energy Rock Angel. For cocktail lovers there are rosé based cocktails available including the Taste of Provence; inspired by the Provence region of France delicate homemade lavender syrup blends beautifully with the fresh notes of Whispering Angel Rosé, finished with a touch of soda.
An ideal accompaniment to rosé sipping, The Rooftop’s European-inspired summer food menu features small and, large plates, sharing platters and desserts. Dishes range from light summery seafood dishes and salads through to classic burgers and original vegan dishes including:

Halloumi Fries, pomegranate, mint, molasses.

Crab and Crayfish Brioche, poached egg, yuzu, chive hollandaise.

Cured Salmon and Seaweed Salad, quail eggs, citrus, sesame, peanut dressing.

The Whispering Angel @ The Rooftop Brunch has small plates available from £14 which can be enjoyed with a glass of Whispering Angel from £15. Brunch bookings are available between 11am – 2.45pm.
